The PrimaLoft® Aerogel Toe Cap provides superior insulation for the coldest conditions and a Vibram® Mulaz outsole allows for optimal traction. In addition to being impossibly durable, lightweight, insulated, grippy, breathable, waterproof and supportive, they’re also crampon compatible. Everything a hero needs to do what they do best.

Made in USA with Imported Components

We source the best materials from around the world and utilize some construction work overseas before shipping partially assembled components to be finished in our Portland, Oregon factory. Once in our factory, the boot uppers are formed and the entire bottom of the boot is constructed by hand, giving us greater control over the finished product. This manufacturing process allows us to bring you a less expensive USA made boot without compromising the quality you expect from Danner.

Synthetic Leather and Perspair® Upper - 
The synthetic leather upper has side panels made of Perspair®. PU-coated nylon thread is woven to create a material that is extremely lightweight and breathable while remaining incredibly durable.
GORE-TEX (GTX) - 
100% waterproof and breathable, GORE-TEX liners ensure that no water gets in, while allowing sweat and moisture to get out.
PrimaLoft® Aerogel Toe Cap - 
Used by NASA to insulate space suits, Aerogel is the world’s lightest solid comprised of more than 95% air. This toe cap provides superior insulation with minimal bulk or weight and doesn’t pack down over time.
Removable OrthoLite Footbed -
Three layers of varying density are combined for maximum cushioning and support. The entire footbed is made of open-cell polyurethane for better heat dissipation and air circulation.
Vibram® Mulaz Outsole -
The Mulaz outsole is made of a sticky rubber compound that provides optimal traction on rock, snow or mud while providing support and durability in extreme environments.
Crampon Compatible -
The semi-rigid heel clip is crampon-compatible and is built to handle extreme temperatures and icy conditions.
TPU Mudguard -
LIBA® Smart TPU mudguard offers increased durability without adding weight.
